Brian Burgess has been Director of Williamson County Emergency Management Agency for 2 years. HE brings 25 years of Fire Service experience with the Williamson County Fire Protection District, where he currently hold the rank of Battalion Chief. Professionally, Brian has served the Illinois Fire Service Institute as a Curriculum Support Specialist in addition to spending 20 years in the public schools teaching Special Education, serves as Department Chair, and as a Technology Director. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in special education, master’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in educational administration all from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
