Steve Wilder is a nationally recognized subject matter expert in safety, security, and emergency preparedness. He has spent over 40 years in the industry, including over 23 years with Sorenson, Wilder and Associates, which he co-founded in 2001. Steve also spent 25 years in public safety, including 31 years with the Bradley (IL) Fire Department where he retired as Fire Chief, and 25 years as a field instructor with the Illinois Fire Service Institute. Steve also served as an Illinois licensed paramedic for 27 of his 31 years on the fire department. In his consulting practice, Steve has done emergency preparedness work with healthcare facilities, educational facilities, government entities, churches and more.
