The concept of “Whole Community” in emergency management emphasizes that effective disaster response and recovery require the engagement of all segments of society, including individuals, businesses, non-profits, and all levels of government. This presentation explores the importance of the Whole Community approach to emergency management, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and the ways it can be effectively implemented.

  1. Explain the concept of the whole community approach in emergency management. 
  2. Identify the key stakeholders involved, including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and the general public.
